Dead Dog Ned

I just finished another painting. This one I will admit is pretty sick. I started this one about a year ago but never had time to finish. It was inspired by Vonya's dog we called the zombie dog because of how he smelled. Dead but not gone.

Swingn' Remains

Alright, I'm so terrible disappointed! I painted this picture with the idea of recording the process and posting it on the blog, but right before I finished it, my computer did something weird and I lost the video file. Oh well. I guess my next one will have to do.

El Chupacabra!

I call this one "El Chupacabra!". I really had fun on this one.

I created a bunch of sketches of all different types of crazy creatures and characters. This is one that I turned into a fake children's book cover. Now that I'm done, I've got all kinds of story ideas for this. A new children's story in the works? Maybe?

Just finished my favorite painting so far. This one is for Byron and his love for dragons. This goat cracks me up. Getting the detail on this one made my eyes go crossed, but I think it turned out alright. Enjoy!

Rainy Friends

I am really excited how well this one turned out. I sketched this out while sitting in the O.R. waiting room anticipating word on Byron's dad who was going through heart surgery. It seemed to really cheer everyone up a little. I started out with just the monster, adding the kid later to give it more of a children's book feel. That boys face cracks me up! I hope you enjoy, I am quite proud of it.

Ryan the Pirate

Here's my latest and greatest. I keep looking at it and wondering how the hell did I do this?? We had to do a self portrait for our assignment, so I turned myself into a pirate of course. Enjoy.

Here's my latest illustration. I'm really proud of the way this one turned out. This one was done entirely on the computer using the Corel Painter program. I'm definitely sold on it.

This was for a class assignment where we had to choose a famous children's story and put our own twist to it. I titled this one "The Wizard of OD". I hope you like!
